HRIS Application Demo

See how the application supports your team’s work

Follow an HR process from the initial records to the result your team needs. We tailor the discussion to the tasks you want to improve.

What to Look for in an HRIS Demo

A useful demo starts with examples from everyday work. HR may want to spend less time compiling attendance records, while payroll needs to check changes in earnings and deductions. Managers may want simpler approvals, and IT needs to understand how the system is managed. Sharing these priorities before the session helps us demonstrate the application in a way that answers your team’s questions.

Follow a Request Through to the Report

A single screen cannot show how an entire process works. An overtime request, for example, can involve an employee, their manager, and payroll. Looking only at the request form does not explain how an approved request is used later in the process.

Ask us to walk through that sequence using the modules being discussed. Check who enters information, who reviews it, and what appears in the report. Note any differences from your company’s rules so we can review the configuration requirements.

Assess Ease of Use for Each Role

HR administrators, employees, and managers use the application for different purposes. Employees may not need the full range of menus available to an administrator. Check whether each user can find their main tasks and complete them without unnecessary steps.

Discuss the screens and workflow for each role. We can explain ESS, mobile access, and approvals as relevant to your requirements. Questions your HR team receives regularly, such as how to view attendance or check a request’s status, provide useful examples for the demonstration.

Record Requirements That Need Further Review

Some requirements cannot be assessed from a presentation alone. A specific report layout, integration with finance, or a payroll rule may need further examples or calculations. Record these separately from the features already demonstrated.

We first review the settings available in the application. If integration or an enhancement is needed, we discuss the example and proposed scope in more detail. The demo therefore supports your evaluation while identifying any further configuration or development work.

Compare Your Current HRIS with the Proposed Application

Prepare a short list of current tasks, recurring difficulties, and the results you want. For example, your team may still transfer overtime totals to a spreadsheet before processing payroll. Follow that example through the demo to assess whether the proposed workflow better meets your needs.

After the session, summarise the processes that fit, the questions still open, and the people who need to make decisions. This gives HR, payroll, and IT a shared basis for evaluating the application. Once the scope is clearer, you can move on to a requirements consultation or proposal discussion.

Sigma Solusi Informatika helps you evaluate Sigma HRIS or Forte HRIS as a replacement for your current system. We also discuss data preparation, training, and support, so the decision goes beyond the demonstration itself. Start with an HRIS consultation using examples of the issues your company wants to resolve.

Questions About the HRIS Application Demo

What does an HRIS demo cover?

The session follows your priorities, such as employee administration, attendance, payroll, ESS, or approvals. Tell us which tasks matter most so the demonstration stays relevant.

Can we discuss both Sigma HRIS and Forte HRIS?

Yes. We explain the options that suit your requirements, including Sigma HRIS for on premises or private cloud deployment and Forte HRIS for cloud use.

Who should attend the demo?

Include the main HR and payroll users. IT colleagues or approving managers can join when the discussion involves infrastructure, integration, or approval responsibilities.

Do we need to prepare data before the session?

Bring examples of the processes, reports, or rules you want to discuss. Use only the sample data needed to explain the requirement; there is no need to send your complete operational records.

Can the demo use an example from our company?

Share the example when arranging the session. We will review what is needed to prepare a demonstration relevant to your process.

What happens after the demo?

Record which requirements are covered, which settings need adjustment, and which questions need further investigation. These findings help define the scope before discussing a proposal.
