Identify the Requests Within Each Manager’s Responsibility
Managers may review several request types with different requirements. Leave, overtime, and business travel may follow different workflows. Unclear responsibilities can leave a request waiting or send someone to review work assigned to another approver.
We use examples relevant to each manager’s role and the company’s confirmed policies. Participants learn which requests need their attention and who to contact when responsibilities change.
Check Information before Making a Decision
Managers should have sufficient information before making a decision. Training explains the details shown and when clarification is needed, as well as how to use the approval controls.
We review example requests and the actions available in the application. Decisions remain within company policy and the manager’s authority. Any requirement not covered by the current workflow is discussed with the company before being adopted as a procedure.
Understand What Happens After Approval
One manager’s approval may be only one stage in the configured workflow. Participants learn how to check subsequent progress so they can give employees accurate information.
We explain how a decision changes the displayed status. Support can help with application questions, while company representatives remain responsible for policy decisions. Managers can then handle requests without needing to understand every configuration setting.
